The program was conducted for twice a week with a total of 13 sessions from May 2nd to July 3rd in 2018. The K-GDS, life satisfaction test, and Diagnostic Drawing Series were used as the applicable research tools in this study. Also, Repeated measures ANOVA was performed by using the SPSS 25.0 for Windows program. After that, pre and post test scores were compared and analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, the average depression score of the experimental group was 7.60 points lower than the control group. So, there was a significant difference between the two groups(t=-3973, p=0.004). Second, the experimental group achieved 3.80 average points higher than the control group in the Diagnostic Drawing Series (t=2.384, p=0.044), and this was found to have a positive effect on depression and emotion. Third, the life satisfaction average score of the experimental group was 3.60 points higher than the control group (t=2.384, p =0.044). This study suggests that the integrated art therapy program can be applied as a useful tool to reduce depression and improve life satisfaction of the elderly living alone in suicide risk group.
